About
Background & approach.
I was born in Lviv, Ukraine, in 1992 and moved with my family to central Hesse shortly after, where I spent my childhood and youth.
I studied medicine at Philipps University Marburg, passing my medical examination in 2018. During my studies I gained international experience in the UK, Sri Lanka and South Korea, which shaped my sense for different ways of living — as did my growing interest in the links between mental and physical health and in holistic approaches such as Ayurveda.
My specialist training began in neurology at Marienhospital Düsseldorf before I turned fully to psychiatry and psychotherapy. Through Klinikum Hanau and Heidelberg University Hospital — most recently in the psychiatric outpatient clinic, working with rTMS, ECT and psychopharmacology — my psychotherapeutic focus developed. In parallel I trained in cognitive behavioural therapy at the ZPP Heidelberg.
I went on to train in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), focusing on personality disorders and chronic depression, and integrate mindfulness-based methods into treatment.
Since December 2025 I have been a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy. I see psychotherapy as a shared process that creates room for change and new perspectives. It matters to me to accompany patients in their mother tongue — besides German, in English and Russian.
